Ten years ago, Wentworth Academy burned down in a mysterious fire. It was deemed an arson but no one was ever caught. The school was rebuilt near the local university, Wentworth University, and the two schools were combined. The combination has led to Professors splitting their time between high school and university courses, and an influx of students. The school has earned a golden reputation and the town is starting to be filled with newcomers trying to gain admission to the academy.
Of course, underneath all of the academic success lie deep secrets. The arsonists are still out there. A school prank gone horribly wrong, or maybe a drunk accident. The youngest works part time downtown and the oldest teaches at the university. There are other secrets too. Student/teacher affairs, teen pregnancies, black mail, abuse. These students are just trying to keep their sanity and the skeletons firmly in a locked closet. As the saying goes, ask me no questions and I’ll tell you no lies, but keep in mind, everybody talks.
